The babies are definately moving around a lot now, I feel them often. I feel them kicking most at night when I am just resting on the couch. We had a Dr. appt last Thursday but they did not take any pictures of the babies or measure the babies they just did an ultrasound to measure the cervix which helps them see the chance of preterm labor. They had said if my number got to 2.5 I would have restricted activity but luckily the average was just under 3 so she said I could go on with my normal activity still and everything was looking good. We had our first small scare last friday but everything was perfectly normal, I had contractiions which this was my first time to have them and they were fairly frequent so I called the on call Dr. and they asked me to come to the hospital, they hooked me up to see the contractions and did a few tests and they felt like everything looked fine and that it was just normal contractions like braxton hicks- we were very thankful to be headed home, these babies need a lot more time before delivery.
Saturday Jason and his parents worked on beginning to get the baby room ready by painting. His mom has been really creative on ideas for us to do the room and we are thankful to have her sending us pictures and looking at colors with us. The room is going to be jungle theme, they are going to do a chair rail trim towards the middle and painted the bottom an orange color and the top a tan color. Below are a few pictures of the progress so far, they are going to put up the trim this weekend and the new blinds. We get the furniture hopefully the end of February so it will be fun to see it all come together.
I will put more pictures up of the room after the trim is up this weekend!
